How is Dotty Fish keeping staff safe at the moment?

We have been monitoring and reviewing the changing situation and are followed the UK governments guidelines. We have limited staff in the office and have staggered start times to ensure that the social distancing guidelines can easily be followed. Are Dotty Fish shoes approved by Podiatrists?

All Dotty Fish shoes are podiatry tested and approved. We have long believed in the benefits of soft soled shoes being the best choice in footwear, especially for those first few pairs of shoes in the early years. We worked with The London Podiatry Centre looking at the science behind our philosophy. They used a sophisticated 8-camera Vicon system as well as a Tekscan pressure mat to determine how a toddler walks with our shoes on and the results have been overwhelmingly positive. Natural normal foot function was not affected and in many instances gait and balance improved when wearing the soft soled leather shoes. You can find out more on our podiatry page.

Why is Free Standard Delivery not available for my country?

We have included free standard delivery in our price but this is limited to certain countries due to shipping costs and constraints. Shipping to other countries can be done for a nominal fee. In addition we have express and tracked services available at checkout. For full details please check our delivery page.

Can I use Apple Pay?

What changes has Dotty Fish made for GDPR?

I received a Dotty Fish product as a gift and it’s the wrong size, can I exchange it?

Yes, if you have received a Dotty Fish product for your little one as a gift and it’s unsuitable in size or design, please email customerservice@dottyfish.com and we can exchange it for you. Unfortunately refunds can only be refunded to the original payment method within 30 days of purchase.

How do I record a video gift message?

We have a new video gift messaging service which allows you to add a personal video message that is sent with your gift. For more information please visit our gifting page which will have a how to video.

Is your online shopping secure?

Absolutely! Your credit card information and personal data is secure when shopping on the Dotty Fish website. Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This renders information unreadable should anyone attempt to intercept it.

To verify your connection is secure, check the bottom of your browser window in your status bar. You should see an unbroken key or a closed lock. This tells you the SSL is active and your information is secure.

Data protection is something Dotty Fish take seriously. All your personal data is secure at all times. We will never pass your details on to a third party. Our newsletter is never sent out without you signing up for it and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How do the shoes come presented?

All our soft soled leather baby shoes are delivered in an organza bag with a ribbon tie. They usually fit through the letter box and make an ideal gift. Our Shimmy Shoe range with rubber soles are delivered in a lovely shoe box with a ribbon handle. All Dotty Fish products are shipped using a biodegradable paper mailing bag with our signature Dotty Fish Doodle on it.

How can I care for my shoes?

All our soft soled leather baby shoes are made from genuine leather and like all leather products should never be put in the washing machine! We suggest spot cleaning them with a damp sponge or even a baby wipe. You can brush the suede soles with a suede brush which will get rid of any surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals on any of our leather shoes.

Our suede slippers can be cleaned with a suede brush to loosen any surface dirt and brush up the pile. They can also be spot cleaned with a damp sponge.

The Shimmy Shoe range is made from premium grade leather and like our other shoes can be spot cleaned using a soft sponge or baby wipe. It is best to avoid using harsh chemicals as this will damage the leather. The rubber soles can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

As all our shoes are made from baby safe leather specialist leather cleaners can be used if you prefer.

How do I apply my discount code?

A discount code can be applied at checkout. Signing up to our newsletter here is the easiest way to keep updated on our latest discount codes and special offers. Discount codes can’t be applied to sale items. Discount codes are only valid on specific products while stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time. They can usually only be used once and will not work in conjunction with any other discount codes or special offers. All discount codes exclude shipping and gift wrap options.

Why can’t I proceed to the payment page on my iPad?

We have been made aware the only version(s) of the iPad that don’t appear to be working at the checkout stage of our website are iPads any older than the 3rd generation. This device was released in 2012 and the technology is now 7 years old. Unfortunately, we do not have a quick fix for this problem, so at this time you will not be able to checkout on your iPad.

Terms and Conditions for Mystery Bundles 2020

  • Mystery Bundles are available on our website for a limited time only.
  • Mystery bundles can only be refunded if sent back as a whole set. Individual items can’t be returned or exchanged separately.
  • Customers may purchase as many mystery bundles as they like, but stock is limited.
  • Mystery bundles are made up individually and may differ from pictured. The product image is for demonstration purposes only. Bundles will differ depending on stock picked but each bundle will be matched according to the age and gender of the shoe you select. So for example, a girls shoe mystery bundle age 6-12 will have accessories suitable for a girl between the ages of 6-12 months and will be different accessories chosen for a boys slipper bundle aged 18-24 months.
